Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is best described by founder, Michael Lee as “a bridge from body to soul.” Through the combination of supported yoga postures with dialogue, the client begins a journey of conscious integration of body, mind, and spirit. Yoga postures and breathing act as channels to increase awareness and quickly remove defense mechanisms that can block traditional talk therapy. Combining Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and body-centered talk therapy allows for deep exploration and healing which empowers people to make changes or to bring the joy back into their lives.

In a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Session, the client is guided through breath and body awareness, supported in gentle yoga postures, and dialogued with throughout the process. The session ends with an integration phase which empowers the client to make the connections and possible changes that are best for themselves. Reiki is also interwoven into the sessions when needed for additional energetic healing.

Individual Healing Yoga Sequences

Home programs and individual training teach techniques to benefit the client’s emotional, physical, and psychological well-being. The combination of specific yoga postures is created for the individual to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, addictions, and/or stress.

Small Group Classes

These classes are designed for people who are interested in yoga and want to learn in an intimate setting before joining a large class. Focus is on alignment and understanding of the foundational postures.
