Professional Experience
Over the past thirteen years, Beth has worked as a Wilderness Therapist in Oregon at Catherine Freer Wilderness Therapy Expeditions. She worked as the Clinical Supervisor and Family Therapist with adolescents and families at Haven Youth and Family Services in Winnetka. She spent time working as a Yoga Therapist at Yellowbrick Program in Evanston until she moved to the Chapman Center at Evanston Hospital focusing on addictions and 12 step recovery. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she developed the Meditation and Yoga for their programming. She taught Yoga for five years, when her three children were little, at Heaven Meets Earth Yoga Studio, Generations Yoga Studio, and Lifetime Fitness Center. She has maintained a private practice since 2006 and recently left her position at Chapman Center to focus on Therapeutic Yoga Groups and individual sessions.
