About Beth Jerva

Education:  Beth received her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Colorado in 1991. She received her Masters in Social Work form Loyola University in 1998. She continued her education by pursuing Yoga Therapy in 2003 with her Certification in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, a 725 hour training program. To increase her knowledge of yoga, she trained at NU Yoga Center in Chicago and received her Yoga Instructor Certification in 2004. As a Licensed Clinical Social worker, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, and Certified Yoga teacher, she brings many healing modalities into the therapeutic process.

Personal:  As a woman in recovery, Beth brings the element of empathy and understanding into the therapeutic relationship.  After a long battle with an eating disorder, Beth was able to heal from this disease that had controlled her life.  She understands the courage it takes to face our challenges and move toward healing and personal truth.  She believes in every person's right to feel the relief and ultimately the joy of knowing and accepting oneself.
